There is one guy that is african american. He is older and he is representing a sport brand. It was a face photo that was pretty close to his face. The lighting is dark and the writing is in white so it sticks out. They only use the colors of black and white and is has a dark tin to it. Most of the words are small but some of them are bigger. They use a normal type font and the bigger font says "would i be" and "would i still be your hero". The small font says info about the ad. The product being sold is all nike products and is being represented by Michael Jordan himself. This ad is targetted to all ages. This ad pretty much says nike is a great brand and alot of famous people wear it. This ad doesnt really make assumptions other than athletes where nike. This ad is social because people still continue to buy nike and there advertisements attract people to buying them too.

There is one african american male that is very athletic and young. His facial expressions are none becasue his head is turned up. The picture was takin pretty much from in front up his with the camera tilted up. The lighting is not real and is very dark. The colors that are use are black, white and are very dark. The words on this ad are in white so they stick out of the black back ground and they say "we are all witness". Thr product that is being sold is nike all nike products and it is appealing because a famous basketball star is the person on he ad. This product is for everyone because any age group can buy nike products. There is no assumption for gender because there are allot of ads that have different stars on them. There is no assumption to race either because there are lots of different races on different ads. The only assumption this could make about class is if you have money or not. The only conseqences of this ad is more products being sold and there is no unrealistic factors that take place. This ad is socialy responsible and follows all the rules along with not having anything inappropriate on it.bad on it.

There are no people in this ad. This isnt a picture its art work. The lighting seems to be bright and attention getting. They use the colors yellow, green, white, black, and grey. The text says "who are you calling a soft drink" and it has black letters and its on a wall so it sticks out more. The text is good sized and is easy to read. Mountain dew is the product being advertised and i think is appealing because of the colors. It is advertised to any pop drinker or someone who wants something to drink. The ad just is saying its a good drink. There is no judgement torwards race, gender, or class. This ad isnt anything that is doesnt advetised. It is social and gets people to try it and keep buying it.
Mike,
ReplyDeleteI see only two ads rather than three and the deconstrution is a little thin. I don't see any discussion of how this tool to examine adveritisements differs from MMS approach
